Well, the time has finally come. Our first trip to Uganda begins with a very long flight tomorrow. We have packed our luggage, and as far as we can tell, we are as prepared as we can be. Admittedly, we are a bit nervous, but probably more about leaving the girls for a week than traveling to the other side of the world. Our excitement level is off the charts, as neither of us are being very successful at sitting still. Mostly, we feel an incredible wave of gratitude to all of our friends and family that have helped to make this all possible. We were still receiving donations as recently as yesterday from two wonderful families that wanted to be a part of what's happening at God Cares School. We could not be doing this if it weren't for the prayer and support that you all have poured out on us. We love you, and we pray that God will bless you for your generosity and encouragement. We look forward to coming home soon and sharing our experiences with you all. Thanks so much for making this happen.
